Lab 7 - Musculoskeletal System

Step One
Lab Seven is about "Muscles & Bones". The human adult skeleton consists of 206 bones. The term musculoskeletal system recognizes that contraction of skeletal muscles causes bones to move.

Pre-Lab Lecture

Objectives
To locate and identify the portions of a long bone.

To identify features of compact bone, spongy bone, and hyaline cartilage in slides and models.

To locate and identify the bones of the human skelton, includig the skull.

To locate and identify selected muscles and types of joint movements.

Step Two
